They had already won the WAC, but this was for everything. A Perfect Season. A BCS Bowl bid. And the Warriors came out flat. Their worst start of the season and Washington put up 21 points in the first quarter.

Then.....Colt Brennan went to work on an unforgettable comeback when he hit Jason Rivers for a 40 yard TD to tie the game 28-28. The Brennan/Rivers connection produced 2 touchdowns in the game. Then with 44 seconds remaining the Warriors took the lead on a touchdown pass to Ryan Grice-Mullen.

Washington had 30 seconds to send the game into overtime, and QB Jake Locker completed 2 passes to take the ball down to the Hawaii 6 yard line. Locker was dropped for a 2 yard loss on the next play. Washington called a timeout. Then Hawaii's Ryan Mouton intercepted Locker in the end zone to seal the comeback victory. Hawaii was on its way to the Sugar Bowl!
