  • @gensmu you're probably the person that called to report the kids' lemonade stand didn't have a business license too. These are little girls that may never have had exposure to dance. It's a start. If the children can't afford to dance, how are they in the classes? She has a right to charge a premium for a unique service. (Or is affordable dance lessons now a "Right"?)

Celebrate a young woman who had the chutzpah to come up with an original idea & has seen it through. The real shame is you.

  • @radishfest Even without credit or a "decent" job, a dream, determination, and prayer will take you far. Every person can accomplish great things. It is a matter of choice.

@genmsu I'm afraid you'll just have to get over your blatantly obvious jealousy. . . Young kids like this are America's true hope. Only the innovation and hardwork of entrepreneurs will make this country prosperous again. Try resisting the bureaucratic impulse and seeing things through the eyes of the innovator.

  • Oh my gosh. I think this girl is bloody SUPER! In this generation that SUCKS with tweens and teens growing up so shallow and selfish, this girl is truly a becon of hope! So shut those holes in your faces you racist pieces of crap, this girl is doing things you'll never do in a million years! And just so you know, I'm not even black.

  • She was in the American Girl magazine

  • SHES HAD A LOT OF HELP FROM MOMMY AND DADDY! still cool though

  • Amaya is a truly brilliant girl, and God bless her mom for backing and financing her dreams! The great thing beyond that, though, is that Amaya and her mom are smart enough to keep the business successful. Kudos!

  • I AM SO PROUD OF HER! I'M SHOUTING ' I'M SO PROUD OF HER! To have a mother that would bring this dream to her daughter is beautful, & this child is making $10,000 & helping her too get into the medical field. A child in the sixty grade that is 11 years old. How dare anyone say anthing NEGEATIVE about this clip! I'm going to stop there before i end up being negative. She has a buisness card with buisenss advisors. I'M SO PROUD OF YOU, & BLESS YOUR MOTHER!

  • That is such a cool story. I bet she won't have to worry about the boys stealing her pink bus either. Ha, ha!

  • cool

  • I don't give a damn that talks have broken down in the Middle East.

Yes, I know another government official is under investigation.

If I see another house fire, I'll set fire to a reporter.

Why can't there be more stories like these?

  • I live in Detroit,
