Super Metroid - Early X-Ray Scope - Minimum Equipment

First of all, this run is rather difficult. Chances are that you will have to try it many times to make it. You are required to know how to do Infinite Bomb jumping.You will require to do this technique twice to reach the second set of spikes and the door to the X-Ray Scope. You can make this run easier by getting the Hi-Jump Boots and a couple of Energy Tanks. Notice that I don't have Energy Tanks, Reserve Tanks, Hi-Jump Boots, Varia/Gravity Suit, Speed Booster or Ice Beam to help me through. I recorded this to show you that it's possible though very difficult. I tried recording this as best as I could. If there are any problems with the video, then my sincerest apologies to you. I hope you enjoy!

0:05 - 0:20 Just me starting on the game.
0:34 - 0:40 I heal here for the coming ordeal.
1:10 - 1:23 Bomb jumping sequence number 1. Notice that I move slightly to the left on the last one so that I am propelled to the left.
1:26 - 1:50 What I do here is waiting for one of the hovering enemies to help me along the way. I let the first one live, and kill the other ones to avoid future trouble.
1:51 - 1:57 I travel with the first hovering enemy to reach the other side.
2:00 - 2:24 Second bomb jumping sequence. I screw it the first time (and many, many times in the recording of this video), and successfully reach the door on the other side on the second attempt.
2:39 - We got the X-Ray Scope! Finally! But it's not over yet!
3:03 - 3:43 I edited this part because it's too long.
3:49 - 4:00 I wait for the hovering enemies to get in the area. We need one again to go all the way back.
4:08 - 4:17 Going the way back and stopping on the block.
*4:18 I kill the enemy we traveled with to get energy

*Note: I went the way back with only 94/99 Energy. If the enemy had dropped only 5 Energy, I would have 9 Energy instead of 14 if I had recovered completely. In that case I would have had to wait for the next enemy and kill it. Hopefully, he would have dropped Energy. If he doesn't drop Energy and drop missiles instead, then I'm sorry to say that the run is ruined.

4:19 - 4:32 Waiting for another hovering enemy to come back to cross the rest of the spikes.
4:33 - 4:48 Crossing the last spikes for a safe trip back home. Yay!

I fking LOVE Metroid Metal! Great job on abusing SM btw, it's a great game and I can see why's it's probably the most loved of all the Metroid games. I really wish they'd make a gameboy port of it (without changing ANYTHING!)

i got a easier way to get it earlier just kill crcomire as soon you can then you can have the grapple to get the scope

If you have Super Missiles, you can kill the claw enemies that try to grab you.

@DessiatoTAS it really isn't needed unless your doing a 100% run but it is also for people that are going through just for fun so they can find hidden items they don't know where are but for people who know the game and try to do fastest runs usually skip this item
