After the repair, I booted it to make sure it was ok, it was. I put it together, and I get a fan error, 02FA I think it was. I replaced the fan thinking it was that, and no dice. One thing, I forgot to disconnect the back-up battery for cmos. any ideas? Thanks again Pete, your friend in Rhode Island, Miguel

I have an HP DV9235NR, my problem, the video works 'sometimes'.As if something is loose. I dug it out of my closet today to figure out what was wrong. I turned it on and it worked fine. I noticed both of my shift keys didnt work, neither did any key on the numerical keypad. So I flipped it over, removed the screws for keyboard removal, removed the keyboard and cleaned it up and put it all back together. Now it dont work again....it turns on, the screen backlight is on but all i see is black.

@mixcatcom I would appreciate your answer.
When I turn on the laptop, it starts BIOS and shows half of Windows logo with some white dashes going vertically, after this I get sounds of Skype and Windows logins, after that it stays all black. Will this insightful video help me to fix this issue? Thank you!
