EDMONTON -- Linus Omark, a rookie with a big upside, walked through half of the Canucks team before undressing Schneider for a highlight reel goal to make it 7-2 Edmonton.

Omark also made another nice play for his third point as he dropped a pass back through his own legs to Brule, who sent a fluttering shot on goal that was tipped in by Penner.

"It is only my second game," he said. "Hopefully I will only get better. It's good for the confidence. It's getting better every day. I hope I make the team. That's why I am here."

  • @kcanderse now they have neugent-hopkins too

  • @Buckeyes8790tj Lee-nus in swedish

  • edmonton is gonna have the most amazing offense in roughly 3 years...

  • @Qwertey16 And who were you going to kick out of the lineup at the beginning to accommodate him? Hemsky? Eberle? Hall? Penner? Paajarvi? Coach made the right decision. Omark was the odd man out. You don't want to throw a developing player 4th line minutes.

  • @Buckeyes8790tj leenus

  • @Buckeyes8790tj If you want the most swedish correct pronunciation of his name it's Lee-nus.
