0 - 85 MPH Accelleration in a 2005 Saturn L300 V6

This is my best friend's wife's car. As coincidence would have it, both myself and my wife also drive the same car. We were on our way to Lake Winnipesaukee in Wolfeboro, NH, and decided to take a few videos. This car is 100% factory. It's the last year they made the L300, and under the hood is a nice 3.0L 24 Valve V6 with 182 Horsepower. Combine that with a light plastic sided car, and you get a 0-60 time in 7.4 seconds according to Car&Driver. All of these videos were taken with 420 pounds of PEOPLE, and who knows how many pounds of junk in the back seats and the trunk of the car. Enjoy!

Well I know this engine is NOT a turbo, but I've heard this is the same engine from the 9-5, and the Cadillac Catera.

@Geoff12052 My dad also has a 2003 Saturn Vue with this motor.... Fairly quick, but the intake gasket went twice in the first year that we owned it. And if you stomp on it too often or put a lot of milege on it, the valves will get loud and make a knocking noise.

i have the 2004 l300 with the same engine the best iv 0-60 in is 6.8 sec with the car almost out of gas to save wieght
