Very good review. Wish I would have seen it before I bought the lights I have now. Now I have to sell the ones I have to get the Revo 4. Kind of disappointed I can't do all that I would expect to with my DMX controller.

Hey bro I want to get into dmx control. Adj mydmx to be exact. But I know that the software doesn't have sound mode. In your video it has dmx sounmode. You think I can use the software and command the sound active mode option through dmx and the revo 4 will use it's mic to get the sound? I want to do this with all my lights. They all have sound mode assaighnable channel. Thanks help

My room is 14 square meters. do you think American DJ Revo 4 is too big? and is the American DJ Revo 4 much better end the American DJ Revo 3 ?? i only like techno electro house music :)

Revo 4 has 256 Channel DMX mode and 4 channel mode.. what controller lets you use 256 channel mode ?

what mic are you using to get such clear audio?

I ended up buying the Revo 3 and used it on its first gig tonight. It was at a school disco in a large hall, so it was a good test. I used it in conjunction with my halogens and it was actually brighter than they were. It put out a lot of light, and the patterns were more interesting than the gobos on the halogen moonflower effects. It's lighter, it produces no heat and you can DMX it ( though I haven't yet). I don't see any downside. I'll be getting the Revo 4 and using them as my main lights.

My halogen lights are getting old, and I'm agonising about whether to get new ones or go for LEDs. This has given me a lot to think about. Thanks for taking the time to post. I'm just worried about the brightness issue.

What is the other light in this video
I can only afford one light at the moment, a revo 4 or a tri phase. What one should I go with?

@fukincunts Tri-phase has much more coverage, but doesn't really do anything cool in terms of patterns so if you want more coverage go with the tri-phase, better effects...go for the Revo 4.

yes it's a great light, most advanced LED on the market right now, though as I've mentioned it's not as bright as the Revo 3
