No wonder folk were intimidated by Ena, the rate at which she spoke! Even though it was over 50 years ago, still dislike hearing the description of the "black" doctor.

@jeffrey44 I think that strong Lancastrian dialect has faded a lot in the past 50 years.

I didn't even know they had black people in 1960 so I've learnt something today.
It is hard to understand some of what is being said during this clip, why is that? Is it the sound quality or did northerners speak funny/too fast in those days? I think it is probably a bit of both.
