Enjoy a ride video onboard a MiWay 2010 New Flyer D60LFR, #1069, on 110 University Express, heading southbound to Clarkson GO Station. This vehicle has a Cummins ISL9 engine and an Allison B500R transmission.

This video was taking entering Highway 403 from Hurontario Street, ending at South Common Centre.

  • @8v71buses its the driveshaft. if u can listen closely to a car the driveshaft makes the same "hum" you hear in ur private vehicle. i got into an argument with an enthusiast over this but i asked a mechanic friend of mine who works on these buses for SEPTA and IT IS THE DRIVESHAFT that makes the "hum" or what I call it the "New Flyer Whine"...

  • Wow MARTA's C40LFR make that same exact loud hum noise :-D

  • Awesome video of it in action! This bus best suit for this Express service with higher number of passengers using this route. This bus sounds quieter than the 2008 model. Like the engine sound with the Cummins ISL9 engine powering it.
