@8v71buses its the driveshaft. if u can listen closely to a car the driveshaft makes the same "hum" you hear in ur private vehicle. i got into an argument with an enthusiast over this but i asked a mechanic friend of mine who works on these buses for SEPTA and IT IS THE DRIVESHAFT that makes the "hum" or what I call it the "New Flyer Whine"...

Awesome video of it in action! This bus best suit for this Express service with higher number of passengers using this route. This bus sounds quieter than the 2008 model. Like the engine sound with the Cummins ISL9 engine powering it.
