You could have saved the investment on that Toshiba laptop by switching over to openSUSE 11.x, runs smoothly and lot of applications available for FREE (including office package). I recommend you to try openSUSE 11.x or kubuntu...both are smooth like silk!

I wan't to order a custom macbook online, but if I'm not home do the UPS or FedEx guy just leaves it at your doorstep? I don't wan't it stolen.

Your right, it was a new computer and I tried installing XP but there were no drivers for the wireless, audio/video etc... for the Toshiba laptop. I even looked up part numbers on it to see if other manufacturers had XP drivers and nada.. So that's why I gave up.
