the parties actually did not reverse. The democrats just got a little smarter and more subtle in their racism. The democrats continue to favor government assistance programs and KEEPING blacks/minorities on welfare. foodstamps etc. The Republicans who's goal is to get these people off of welfare so that they can be successful and productive citizens are only being portrayed as racists by the demo-rats.
