people make me so sick. it was not an accident! the whale killed the human cause it hated her. NO animals do not want to do rediculous tricks on stage, YES animals do feel humilated and sad. I've seen animals cry before, I snuck backstage of a circus with my sister just for shits and saw this elephant crying its eyes out after a show. what's wrong with people! if you want to eat them eat them but dont keep them in captivity and humiliate them. wtf

Terrible tragedy

What makes me angry is that they knew the whale was violent, it attacked other whales and was aggressive to people before, killing another person; so why the hell was it in these shows?

On the other hand, while I don't agree with wild animals performing tricks the argument that they shouldn't be in captivity at all is stupid. Animals aren't put into captivity solely for entertainment. Many species would be extinct if it weren't for zoos, with poaching/environmental damage

I absolutely hate any animal being held in captivity.

Orca whales are One of the most amazing mammals to ever exist on our planet. it is wrong to hold them in captivity.

Free the whales.

I cannot believe you people. Yes, these animals should be left in the wild, but there is probably a reason that they aren't. A lot of times when animals are brought into captivity, it's because they are not suited for survival in the wild.

Besides that 1) the whale was unprovoked. 2) This is the third attack (and second killing) that this particular whale has done on humans. 3) "Killer whale" is politically incorrect and does not mean that these animals attack people for the hell of it.
