  • A rare Snap Judgment Autio opening has recently been posted.

  • By who?

  • This is definitely the theme to TPiR I remember from long ago; but I'm just as sure that it wasn't the theme to Snap Judgment or Say When.

  • And its confirmed that the theme to SJ is this one :)

  • This is very definitely the theme to TPiR that I remember from way back when; but I know it isn't the theme to "Say When".

  • It was the theme to say when. :)

  • The first quarter of the theme (from the Best of TV Quiz & Game Show Themes) is missing.

  • If I ever get my hands on the proper equipment, or the right people, I'm going to mix this song with the 1972 theme. thats going to sound FANTASTIC!

  • sounds great

  • @secondchance1977 NOPE! It was NOT the them of "Say When" & "Missing Links" -- JUST "The Price Is Right" (Bill Cullen version, PLUS "Snap Judgement"! And thats on final authority! ~ Rusty! :-)

  • Also, I might add to my first comment here, this music here is an entirely DIFFERENT TAKE from the recording session. If you compare, EVEN these limited sections of the theme played here, there are subtle differences in this arrangement compared to the final cut used on the show. Track 1 on my air copy - the theme begins w/the intro fanfare; Side 2 w/out fanfare. I think I have the ONLY COPY in existence! Bob Cobert probably doesn't seem to have it cuz Sony released only this version.

  • @jefam3 Yes! This IS the Theme from TPIR(Cullen 1960s Version), BUT IT AINT THE COMPLETE RECORDING! There's also an opening fanfare and the 1st section is missing. At the end of the run I was there (about 9) & managed that day 2ask & GET the actual metal 78 RPM disc used for broacasts. After growing up I used that theme 4my theme song on WFAS-AM White Plains NY (ABC WestchesterNY affliate) after I asked Mark Goodson himself & recieved a letter of clearance 2use from theirLawyer.
