I can't believe no one gives Tom his due. I just saw them live and I was not ten feet of the stage in front of Tom. (Good job missing me with every pick flip!) He is without a doubt (ahem) one of the best pop-rock guitarists of all time. He always brings just the right amount of modern-guitar-crunch to every song. I wish he'd do some sort of solo project where he could solo more.
