G. OLIVER AND MANDAL USED TO PLAY AT THE KRANG PLAZA AT JANE/WILSON NOW KNOWN AS NORTH YORK SHERIDAN MALL. THEN LATER WAS THE HOUSE BAND AT A CLUB NEAR YORKVILLE FORGOT THE NAME. AWESOME

First time I saw the Mandala was at Frankies Agogo Surf Club in Port Carling Ontario.There was about 1500 of us jammed in ther that night.Still cant get enough.Also first place I saw Jon-Lee and the Checkmates-awesome

I saw the Mandala at the old Hullabaloo Club on Sunset Blvd in the 60s..and played this single until it wore out...great to be able to hear it again...also saw The Seeds the same night...and met the Allman Brothers as they pulled their white van into the driveway..what a night...

Dom's birthday is today 1-17-09 - He'd be 63 if he hadn't died 5-25-05 of prostate cancer. Get the 2 James Gang Lp's he and Roy Kenner played on - on one CD! Great stuff!
