Subaru takes the day at Loveday 4x4 Park. The Brumby has an EJ22, FT4WD gearbox, and aftermarket shockers and springs amd a 2" body lift. ... all » The L-series also has a 2" body lift and a weber'ed EA82 with one shocker blown out (after welding it to fix) plus a welded rear differential.

  • Nice video! I'm even more jealous! I want a Subaru!!!!! I love off-roading AND rallying! BTW, what are your opinions on rally racing?

  • It's a heap of fun... Was burning around in my Brumby the other day at the same place this video was taken at and it's pretty much more fun then any hill or mud hole I've done.. Still the offroading is fun too.

  • Haha - this is a great vid BR, A good ol' fashion old school subi shaming!

  • Yea true

but it still did well for a Wagon

  • Yes, but I bet if the yota had a welded rear diff or locker it would of easily beaten it on this hill.

  • lol the suby wagon did better than that toyota!

  • Oh it had a Welded rear diff, thats explans it. Yeah a old Soob with a welded diff is unstopable, except for snow, not too good and like you said water. Still Subarus are great!

  • Carb EA82. Only thing that made it do it was the welded diff. I've driven stock subarus with std tyres and a welded diff and they go anywhere except water.

BTW I changed my user name, more videos under my new user name

  • Cool video! Nothing like a Subaru! that GL did really well so did the Brat/Brumby.. What was the GL running? Stock SPFI EA82 or Carbed?

    Very nice..
