  • no wonder there's a shortage of doctors

  • In 1947, R.J. Reynolds commissioned a survey among more than 100,000 doctors, asking the key question, "What cigarette do YOU smoke, Doctor?". However, BEFORE the survey was sent out, all of those doctors received free samples of Camel cigarettes. Naturally, when the survey was taken, most of those doctors gave the answer Reynolds was expecting. In their radio and magazine advertising, their slogan was, "According to a nationwide survey, more doctors smoked CAMELS, than any other cigarette".

  • damn i´m getting a camel now...

  • When you see commercials like this, you realize that there is validity to the lawsuits against tobacco companies. They really were conning their customers.

  • This ad was first seen around 1950, often shown on "CAMEL NEWS CARAVAN", [with John Cameron Swayze] on NBC, and "MAN AGAINST CRIME" (starring Ralph Bellamy) on CBS.

  • Have a Lung carpet bomb with that coffee doctor.

  • If Virginia Slims was around then, would OBGYNs have endorsed them?

  • Why am I not surprised. I knew a respiratory therapist that smoked 2-3 packs a day. In fact, I assisted him at the first autopsy I attended.

  • @reneecalling I'm a throat doctor and I smoke two packs of Camel's a day and my throat feels great!!!

  • lololllolo!!!
