The 2008 BioEnergy Summer Interns worked on various projects involved bioenergy applications. This project involved using waste vegetable oil as a source for biodiesel productions. Replacing methanol with ethanol was also examined.
Excellent work gentlemen, I too have researched the ethanol path.. I'm curious @ what proof was the ethanol u used to get a good reaction?? I like the Closed loop ferment & distill method of Glycerol. Is this doable by home brewer??
U can also Turn the water heater upside down & pipe the Glycerin drain to the lowest port for better draining.. & with a simple pot still reclaim some methanol for next process, then for me, It's Soap making time.. LOL.. ;)
Wow, very impressed!
