@CriticsConfession You're hilarious. Who are you to tell him what he should or shouldn't do?
Just listen to the music, be glad he's coming on youtube to show us his talent, and do away with the rather irrelevant, unneeded and fussy criticisms. I'm sure he didnt dedicate his time on youtube so people like you can post dumb requests for more emotion or whatever.
-
@Tiger66261 Yeah, and he shouldn't be "just playing normally" on an emotional song.
-
@CriticsConfession He's just playing normally. He doesnt need to put on a show for us. Just listen to the music.
-
@slat37 he mad
-
haha you guys are noobs, you probably suck at piano which is why you talk about it so much and don't play. this guy would fucking play circles around you two. Point made.
-
@slat37 God, that retort is so fucking trite. "I'd like to see you do it better!" Physical ability/dexterity at doing something and the capacity to fairly judge something are not prerequisites for each other. And yeah, I agree with CriticsConfession. The guy embellishes the notes too much and the speed is awfully fast for a song where the narrative centers around a drowning metaphor.
-
They need to make another video right now or so. It's been 3 years like what since they posted this up. -_- =u
-
Too fast. Speeding up a tempo changes the emotion, or creates a lack there of. Thats real sadness
-
@slat37 Thanks for that, wanker. The whole "I'd like to see you play better" remark became irrelevant when an intelligent life form gazed their eyes and gawked at that overused and ignorant comment. And crescendo? Do you even know what that word fucking means? You've clearly never touched formal music in your entire life. inb4 you google it and tell me what the fucking Wiki definition is or a paraphrased version of such.
There is no emotion here and that's what the song is about. You lose.
The guy can play, but he has no emotion, and that's what music is about. It doesn't come from here (at this point, I'd be pointing to my head) - it comes from here (and I'd be pointing at my heart right now).

Amazing. It doesn't hurt that the piano also sounds amazing
