Weird shit happens, it snowed in Newcastle and the Central Coast in 1965 up to 6 inches in some areas. Also on 27 June 1836 1 inch of snow fell in Sydney City... it happens.

the dust was brown , but when teh sun came up over the horizon it gave the dust a red colour

Don't dust storms blow by Sydney usually? I mean, the outback is just West of Sydney...Of course, this is RARE, but RARE things do happen. 70 years ago in Sydney, another great dust storm swept over too. :) It's like a cycle, and each cycle repeats it's self. Like "Global Warming"

Thanks for your comment . I wont blame people from thinking its the end of the world. As helpless human being , we are just scared to confront the consequences of truth. I have to admit , the dust storm phenomena is dangerously beautiful. No one can predict mother natures doing especially
with our significant contribution to deplete the ozone layer which in fact contributes to all the unusual events that is happening .
