  • Nice vid. Something to consider: Those automotive batteries, if deeply discharged are not going to last long. i had a similar setup with a couple of automotive batteries and one of them died after 6 months. (there was a 1 yr full replacement warranty - hehe). Later this summer I'll post the new setup for my solar cabin. Thanks for sharing.

  • thanks for the post.. Great idea.. Yeah I dont let them go under 11 volts.

    Take care my friend,

    -Pete

  • hi i need to knw that, if i need to run an airconditioned of 1500 watts the panels of how many watts i needed and if i add fridge as well than how many more panels i need to run both appliances!!!

  • прикольно

  • With all the news recently about sunspots and solar flares I was wondering if these pose any risk to solar power systems?

  • what's up with the computer power supply next to the hot water heater?

And how cool would it be if you ran a window ac unit using the sun? Cold air in your house all thanks to the sun without paying for it!

  • @ikilicoglu except when your friends and neighbours realize you have power and they dont

  • But thats good, because they deserve attention. And you get a ++ from friends and neighbors for acting sustainable. Its something you should be proud of!

  • @Fergus247, Solar panels can be on a roof out of sight, windmills however are easily seen. But i dont understand why it should matter if they draw attention or not, depending on where you live i guess.

  • The thing i dont like about solar panels, and windmills is that they attract too much attention

  • how many cicles do the batteries handle? are the deep circle? , 1500Watt modifyed sine wave? or squarewave? or what?, outputt of the solar panels ? how many average sunny days do you have?.

    Thanks

I want to know this to consider solar energy as a viable power source.

  • i need helpon my dead solar panel system can you help
