Simply Beautifull!

this is exactly what kinda car i want (not convertable tho). clean car, and i love the carb set up
-
I have a '82 coupe with 302, 9:1 compression, stock GT40P heads, TFS valve springs, 51012X cam (small base circle version of the 51012), Performer RPM intake, Edelbrock 600 cfm carb, MAC shorties and cheap 2.25" duals. Do you think the Edelbrock 600 is enough carb? And what rpm should I shift at to take full advantage of this combo?

Can a jr. victor intake same size as on this car fit on a 302!

hey man when you did the swap, were you able to run the stock fuel pump or what did you have to change to?

Nice ride. My carbed 87 will be done soon

sounds great. just not sure if id go with a convertible top..
From what you have the Lunati 51014 sounds like an awesome choice. That 51012 loves
compression, single plane intakes, lots of gear and lots of rpms. With my setup it came on
around 5,000 and i shifted at 6800. Your car will run fine. Im just not sure the 51012 is
right for parts that look to shift around 6,000. Man i could be wrong but i just remember the 51014 being a racer / driver cam and the 51012 being very aggressive and needing parts that were meant to be above the 6000 rpm range.

Put a cell in. Mounted a holly blue pump in the rear bumper.
Ran braided line.

The performer RPM would've worked better in town. At the track the performer wouldn't be the way to go if your shifting over 7,000 rpms.
I loved the Airgap Performer RPM i had, but the Victors the way to go for high rpms.
