Penguin Island Rockingham Wild Encounters

Penguin Island is a truly unique place and possibly Perth's best kept secret!

White sandy beaches, calm crystal clear waters ideal for swimming and snorkelling and plenty of wildlife to see, best of all it's only a 5 minute ferry ride away. It is home to WA's largest colony of little penguins which visitors can meet at the Discovery Centre.


There's three feeding sessions daily at 10.30am, 12.30pm and 2.30pm. Ferries depart hourly 9am- 3pm. Glass bottom boat, high speed adventure cruises and sea kayak tours to see wild dolphins, sea lions and the ruggedly spectacular islands depart daily.
