There are millions of homeless people around the world. For whatever reason they came to be in that condition is not for me to judge. I look at my beautiful labrador Hailey right now and I know with every fiber of my being that I would die for her if I had to..She has brought so much unconditional love to my life. It doesnt matter what kind of day I have had, she is always there to make me laugh and smile. I know in my heart of hearts that if I came to be homeless one day, not to sound selfish, but I would never ever turn my back and leave her behind. These animals did not ask to be brought into this world and they are left for us humans to provide, care, love and be there with them till the very end. I hate people who drop their "ITS JUST A DOG" off at the shelter because of "We're moving and he
s gotten to big." Excuse me how big did you think the German Shepard will get..HELLO!!! If I could make just one wish, (well 2- the first bringing my precious Rayne back to me) and I would wish that every dog had a home and every dog owner have a home...People look down upon homeless people, which is another thing that i dispise. You never know it could be you sitting on that sidewalk one day...I really feel for these people and I honor them for the love they share with their furry companion. They didnt walk away from their responsibilites. Instead they may not have a physical home but home to them is to be with their dog or cat and who, JUST WHO are we to judge them...I rank them above alot of people that I know. You can learn compassion from each and every photo in this video. It breaks my heart but I also know that each of these dogs have true owners who will be there till the end.

  • I truly beleive that you can lose everything you ever worked for but just having your pet, that unconditional love makes it worth getting up every day.

  • @countrycache1 you are so right about that...i've loved and lost one in a housefire and the last one Rayne was murdered by his own (supposed to be daddy)... I loved them with all my heart and now i have a rescued lab named hailey and she is truly my reason for believing in humans again...i dont know what i would do if i lost her.. thanks for viewing! sherry

  • A very touching video, and I agree with all the statements posted. I don't have trust in too many people, my four legged kids are my life and I too would never give them up if I wound up homeless. When I see the inhumanity of things done to any animal, I get very angry and wonder at the justification. We are suppose to be the superior beings on this planet, but I truly have my doubts at the at the things I have seen.Thank you for posting this, I hope it touches a few people and opens their eyes.

  • Another touching video, in my area there are always homeless people with their dogs by Wal-mart. If I have any money on my I usually go to burger king, or any close place to get food and buy them a meal. I remeber the first time I did it, the guy gave the whole Whopper to his pitty and he took the fries. I asked if I could pet the dog and he said yes, she was a sweet girl her name was Amada meaning "beloved".
