Grate vid... but why is a New York Central loco hauling Union Pacific Coaches?
LopezHernandezAdrian 1 week ago
@LopezHernandezAdrian By the time I bought the loco and the cars I didn't know that a NYC loco hauling UP coaches would be wrong cause I wasn't really familiar with north American railroading and the different roads. The dealer in Germany had only UP cars in stock, so I took them. Plan is to exchange my UP Challenger, that currently pulls a mixed freight, with a Big Boy, use it for hauling this UP passenger train and get some NYC Pullmans for the Hudson. But that is 6,500 € away from now...

Looks good just the way you have it. If you don't really care, don't worry about. I bet a lot of people would love a NYC Hudson to pull their UP cars, especially that many. After all they ain't cheap.

@fredjackamikoons Thanks for the comment. You're right, but in the meantime I do care more and more unfortunately. I could probably use my UP Challenger to pull the train pretending it was the Wyoming area it runs trough. But what to pull then for the Hudson? Maybe an express train with one RPO, 2 baggage, 3 sleepers and a diner...
Best regards
Frank

@residentevil742 That's interesting! I searched the net for it and it was i.e. milk trains that were hauled from the Hudson. Will think about it...
