Settlers moved to the area now known as Pendleton in 1818. Since that time Pendleton has become one the most well-known smaller communities in the Midwest. Pendleton's unique and vibrant history makes this one of the most rewarding experiences anyone can have.

A taste of life in Pendleton is available at some of the many events like the homecoming parade, the June Jamboree, and the Heritage Festival, both of which are held in Falls Park. And at Christmas time there is the 'Christmas in Pendleton' that has become a mega event all its own.
