Crazy Train - Rock Band 3 Expert Vocals FC

Yes, the opening "all aboard" and laugh sound ridiculous. I will not argue with you about that. I am not Ozzy Osbourne, nor was meant to be.

I am having difficulties getting good audio on recording RB3 vocals. From what I understand, it auto-adjusts sensitivity, and that seems to lead to frequent changes in how loud my voice comes through. You'll notice here that it fades in at the start of a phrase most of the time. I'm guessing it's because it's lowering sensitivity from noise from the tv in between phrases. I suspect this is going to turn out to be very buggy. :/ And apparently any changes in distance from the mic cause huge differences. I may just have to start singing with my mouth touching the mic the whole time or something.

So, yeah, Crazy Train. One of the few songs on RB3 I knew well enough to SRFC on vocals with the original vocals muted (one of the good things about RB3 so far is that you can entirely mute the original vocals, which I've not been able to do with any of the other games). This is not the SRFC; I recorded that one, but you couldn't hear me at all (nor the original vocals - it was really weird). So this was a redo.

I'll record several more of these on Monday and Tuesday, probably. I've been splitting my time between vocals, bass, and drums so far, and am about to order an extra cymbal to work on pro drums and eventually a keyboard. I've played 28 songs on vocals so far, and will probably try videos for Rehab, Killing Loneliness, Last Dance, This Bastard's Life, and The Power of Love out of those. If you have other requests or suggestions, let me know.

WOW - I had no idea ithe game auto adjusted and have had COUNTLESS hours of frustration with one phrase sounding like I'm screaming and the next being barely audiable! I think I may be LOUD by nature because I can hear myself in game but do have points in the recorded vid where I think "where did I go?" lol - thanks for the information none the less - now I won't spend anymore sleepless nights thinking about it! lol :D On a serious note - great SR FC too!
