You mean that you like to see black people die from hunger or somthing?

I feel bad... I had to quit the fourty hour famine because I was almost passing out. This kind of famine featured in the video was a great idea! In our forty-hour famines, it is very strict. Most let you have like rice cakes but we couldn't have anything but water! To make things worse, my parents decide "Let's bake really good food today!" And then they offered me some "Forgetting" that i was doing it! GRR

i want to do an experiment. one week (dont tell them your making it a month) of homelessness on the streets and the young people are not allowed to go to friends or people they know for help. film it, and pt it here to see what they learn, to show how people live in less fortunate circumstances

I can understand where worldvision is coming from in order to appeal to younger australians... and yes i can also see your point emessmarzero... but what young person is going to download a video on youtube or keep the tv on when ads of children starving come on? I'm not saying its a good thing... but its the sad world we live in where people will turn off the tv if those images come up.
Positively disgusting and shameless. You guys have really lost your way with your guilt laden trivialization and mis-characterization. How you expect anyone to take you seriously after that is beyond comprehension. You might as well have resurrected Monty Python. You should focus on the honest issues instead of this rediculous parody. You have thrown away all credibility.

Hey there emessmarzero,
Thanks for your view - but I really think you might've missed the point.
If you check out all of our other clips for this year's famine they are genuine, authentic and honest. They tackle the issue of child rights and present it in a digestible form for young Australians.
We thought we'd lighten the mood and show what young Australians can do to take part in this year's 40 Hour Famine - in different ways apart from the traditional 'no food'.
