ESF met Abdoulaye Salle during out trip to the public hospital. He was not receiving oxygen, had not slept or eaten much in 2 weeks. In addition, he was sitting in the hospital for 14 days without basic care or even a bath. The hospital officials did not want to transfer him although they were aware that their resources were extremely limited. ESF paid for his stay at a suitable private hospital where he received good care as he was given comfort in his last days of life. Team ESF named one of our projects after him, "The Abdoulaye Sall Project" in order to reach out to other children like him.
