HHO Current Over Unity Research #1

This is the continuing research of current / power over unity "Rod Buck Voltage Convertor" It all started out to find a cheap way to convert 12 volts DC to 3.5 volts DC. Now it has evolved in to reduce the drain from the cars's battery / alternator system to run HHO cells. In part 2 you will see 1200% current over unity. The trade off is 0.1 amp from the power source produces 1.3 amps fed to the cell. As the duty cycle is longer, the more current you will have but less current over unity. The way to have your cake and eat it too is to have very short duty cycles with the use of multi one shots driving either the same mosfet / coil or several mosfet / coils circuits. There should not be any problem scaling this upward. There is another person using my circuit in the process of do that now.

you lose some wattage in the voltage to amperage conversion but i guess the cell produces waaaay more efficiently in a high amperage low voltage enviroment is that the gist of the OU here?

Sorry for my late reply, I was at the 2010 Tesla Expo where we sold out of all of my Starship coil models, They were so powerful that other exhibitors replaced their coils with a Starship coil. There will be new videos of the expo coming soon!

I also did a presentation and hand on demo of this circuit.........it was a hit at the show.

At the moment you said you arrived at 200% unity i did some measurement 3.3 A x 12 v in= 39.6 watts your current in cell is 6.3 A x 2.79 V = 17.577 watts .. Can you elucidate for me where the overuniy is if immissingsomething ..... I reallyhope I am because ive bee working to suceed in this for a long tie and ireally g exited when i saw yur vids i just trying to understand where the overunity isthank you so much ,, and good luck!!! @sdfab Your just looking at the power at the HHO cell, not the entire circuit.

Why do you feel that it is necessary use a shut for the meter on the left but perfectly acceptable to use the meters internal shut on the meter at the far right. The internal DC amp shut built into the meter will have the same percentage accuracy measuring 1.1A as it would measuring 2.18 Amps. I also do not understand how you believe this is Over Unity when you even admit the output efficiency only measures 92%

@ke4uyp You can not use the internal shunt of the meters because the current can exceed 10 amps and burn up and, the meter on the far right will never approach 10 amps and is least important, plus I want the main current meters to be matched so they can swapped in position.

can you perhaps have a tesla coil generator on standby that is connected to earth. perhaps if this is done any arc over will prefer to go to ground via this method rather than through a human being!

This may sound silly, but what happens when you put the ferrous rod inside the starship's centre with your current config?

OK you said that the input voltage is 10.48V X 1.1A = 11.528 watts

Cell voltage 2.31V X 4.0A = 9.24 watts and that is 80% of 11.528 watts

80% efficiency is not Over Unity

BTW it is not a conversion it is a measurement of output efficiency.

@ke4uyp First you don't understand what a current shut is 1MV = 1 amp, so that meter will read up to 200 amps. I am not going to answer your other question because all of that is covered in later videos. By the way the input voltage was not 12v is was around 10.48 v which put the conversion at about 92%. See the setup with 4 meters.

How can you accurately determine the efficiency of this circuit if you have never measured the input voltage?

You have only measured the input current.

Please explain to me how you can measure correctly DC amps with a meter set on the DC mV scale?

At 1 minute into the video the far left meter is set on the 200 mV DC scale not DC amps.

You have the Same set up for the meter to the right of the far left meter it is also set on the 200 mV DC scale not DC amps.

@ke4uyp Cheap meter connected to percision current shunt made, matched, and balance by me. Stop and think, even if the meters were off 20% off look at the ratio, also look at the video where I used analog meters, Come and see me at the Tesla Expo, bring your own meters and see for yourself. On one of my other videos there is an attached video from Germany duplicating the results.

And yes NASA uses them, but not because of some overunity fantasy. NASA isn't in the habit of violating the laws of physics, even if you insist they have to.
