Wii Ware: Major League Eating: The Game [MLE]

A segment taken from Gamespot.com's "On the Spot" which features the new Major League Eating (MLE) game coming out exclusively for the Wii via their new Wii Ware service.

I am very curious and interested in MLE for the Wii. Specifically, I want to know more about the gameplay and am hoping to see an online or two player head-to-head mode. Hopefully it will incorporate full functionality of the Wii Remote too. I guess after watching the clip you really can boil this game down (no food related pun intended) a fighting game.

uhh im a drummer to and the drums are responsive and you can keep your foot down on the pedal..which by the way isnt true about drumming..most drummers (jazz) release the pedal a little bit to just take the beater off the head so it rings out....please know what your talking about...

I personally usea guitar hero 3 and play the real guitar and guitar hero doesnt make you learn something about the real guitar its just a game and rockband sucks XD :d

again...avoiding the point that you were defending MLE, a horrible excuse for a game.

anyways, rockband does suck...when your alone in your room and the volumes down low. mabye if you had any friends you would see that RB is one of the best party games ever made. awesome soundtrack,and fun to play (if not a little embarising)

oh hey and i could buy a cheap guitar instead of playing GH...to bad i play the keyboard instead.

Guitar hero isnt a waste of money, as long as u use it enough.

In the instance I didn't get it across I am a drummer of 12 years. I would much rather play a real instrument than play a toy instrument. For as much as you invest in GH and RB you could buy a cheap 5-pc Pacific kit or an Epiphone guitar.

Saw it on your page. IMO I hate the game. Terrible peripherals & a completely piss poor set of drums that are so loud you have to crank the volume just to hear what you're playing. You also have to keep your foot up on the bass pedal which being a drummer, you don't do; you keep the beater against the head of the bass drum. Lastly, you have to drum open handed on thick unresponsive drum heads, which they now sell drum pads for - recognizing their error. The only cool thing is the lic. music.
