Checker Cabs from Speed Channels 101 Cars

Speed Channel's "101 Cars You Must Drive" segment on Checker Cabs, it was shot in Kalamazoo MI where the Checkers were built. This was the clubs Summer 2008 meet at the Kalamazoo Air Zoo.

There were more cars there than this show represents.

how could he call the checker aerobus something gone horribly wrong. what a jerk! That was the best vehicle there and he just dissed it! Why do a checker cab co review then call on of their vehicles "ridiculous". He also said the front bumper was designed for hitting small children! jeez

I've never ridden in a Checker cab, but I know what they look like. I've ridden in plenty of cabs, but never a Checker cab.

@canadiancatgreen I was watching a video of the 100 anniversary of UPS and when UPS first came to Canada they were using Checker cabs as delivery vehicles. They were of course painted the signature brown.
