@Circe200 -Although the genius Austin Osman Spare may have met A. Crowley & even briefly involved himself with Crowleyan decree, he was actually 100% against ANY occult "Orders", organized popular religions or hierarchies otherwise.
So those who may also like Aleister Crowley may simply like him for his contributions, however NO, Austin was not a follower, but a leader as an Individual empowered by his OWN work & personal communion with spirits. The only "sin" being the denial of self-pleasure.

love the king crimson track but can anyone explain to me why aleister crowley is so admired by the in crowd. religous maniac junkie !. and before some fuckwit replies that he was a satanist, this is the 21st century and it's time to put bullshit mythology to bed along with christianity, islam, hinduism etc.

I love it!!!!
Thank you for this video and all the wonderful AOS artwork you have compiled. Do you know if there is photographic reproduction of the painting he did of the mysterious Mrs. Patterson? I have always wanted to see it.

Saw Austin Spare on the culture show a couple of weeks back, but it only showed a fraction of the work you have here...much apriciated to see some more of his work....he was a genius.....regards Nidge1974.....

@nidgybaby No problem. A good Spare biography, which features a lot of Spare's work throughout, is Frank Letchford's "Michelangelo in a teacup: Austin Osman Spare" (Mandrake Press Ltd., 2005).
