This is a call to any honest politician out there. I want to know if you exist. Is there anyone out there who wants to represent the people? Or are you all just out there for yourselves? Does the concept of 'honest politician' belong in the same category as the dodo bird and dinosaur?

You're right, I was just having fun yesterday while I was working on some investments. I liked Clinton too, but he made a terrible error taking all the regluations off the banks in 1999. The ONLY good part of that was I made a ton of money when the market crashed a couple of years ago but it did such damage to the country, that I wished it had never happened. I fear now that massive inflation is just around the corner. It will be a long time before we are out of this mess if ever.

  • @TheAerialbomb I preferred Clinton to Bush, and prefer Obama to Palin: Nevertheless I've honest respect for "this kid" you refer to - he's bright, always polite and knows how to defend himself.

The gap between Republicans and Democrats is obviously deep, with much ideology and implacable hatred involved. Clinton sought a compromise with moderate republicans after mid-term losses and won again in 1996 - I hope Obama will succeed likewise. I see most common sense in the political middle.

    Who's Olbermann?

Do you understand that union member vote on their leader? I guess not.

Some said Captain Kirk was explotive of his crew, would you agree?

I seem to remember some things... not as well as an officer, I'm sure.

  • @TheAerialbomb Unions today are exploitive of workers. Prove to me this is untrue. You cannot. You can't do anything except repeat talking points. You accuse me of being a blind Beck follower...but you seem more like a blind Olbermann follower to me, which only clarifies that you are not only ignorant, arrogant, and immature, but you are also a hypocrite. "People in glass houses shouldn't throw bricks."

  • @TheAerialbomb Um...???? You are living in a propaganda world, man. Labor unions are not the same as they were back when the KKK was prominent. What makes you think my parents are bigots? I assure you, they are not. In fact, I question your own racial bias; you keep bringing up the KKK, you must have either done some research into it or you are being fed lies about how they are still around and prominent. They are a hateful organization that didn't just target blacks. They were terrorists.

  • @starfleetofficer1

OH, PLEASE. You have to be kidding with that union leader crap about 9/11.

Union hate..... are you kidding? Kid, go back in history, labor unions and union members were included on the hate list of the KKK. Do a little reading instead of looking at the Beck Blackboard.

You never heard a corporate lobbyist? Who do you think pays for those Tea Party buses.... HOW OLD ARE YOU? You live in a world of your own I guess...... are your parent hateful bigots? Do they hate blacks?

  • @TheAerialbomb The union leaders were not there during 9/11--those heroes that rushed in may have been union employees, but they were not the leaders. If they were, they probably were thinking only of the victims and survival, not profits. But we are not in a life-or-death situation every day, and that is when this kind of crime goes on. Show me the "hate" you speak of...to my knowledge, I've never met a corporate lobbyist or heard one speak.

  • @starfleetofficer1

You listen to too much hate from the coporate lobbyists.

I'm sure a lot of the union police and firefighters in NYC said "no need to rush into the World Trade Buildings, it's only going to fall down anyway"

  • @starfleetofficer1 Unions exploit their workers, create dependents, lie to them constantly, intimidate them, tell them that they'll be let go if they don't vote for a certain candidate, commit voter fraud...at the very least they should be abolished from MOST (not all) industries because of criminal coercion.

  • @TheAerialbomb No, I mean worker abuse like unions failing to clean up NYC's streets so they can hire more workers, I mean worker abuse like union bosses telling their employees, "You don't have to put up with [being told to work harder] during your break," drilling into the heads of high-school-educated individuals that they don't need to work hard or that they can't stand up for themselves, that they must pay high dues and MUST join a union if they want to keep their jobs. Exploitation.
