Amy Shuard (soprano) (1924-1975)

From 1950 to 1970, she was the most sought-after soprano in England. She sang a wide variety of roles from the lyrical to dramamtic repertoire. She sang until her untimely death at the age of 50. Her recorded legacy is very small.

This recording is from 1962.
Recorded in Kingsway Hall, London.
