I remember when this song broke - It was everywhere. This back-up band doesn't do her or the song justice - No energy or charisma for a song that really jumps when you hear the studio version - Shame, I always liked her and her music.

@CamelClass talking shit means your trying to start something or just piss people off. I prefaced my comment with that because I was trying to be polite. An honest opinion is different than talking shit. I grew up in the 80's and 90's... I remember Liz Phair well. She wasn't good back then and still isn't. The whole Lilith Fair movement was embarrassing for women musicians everywhere. Go listen to the indigo girls already.

not to talk shit... but her voice is not that great or interesting, and the song isn't that great or interesting. And she has band of normal dudes as her backup. Don't get the appeal. Oh yeah... that's why she's virtually unknown these days.
