  • No....does not do jimi justice..no way..

This guy's not on that level..

  • nice!

  • Some people seem to hate this and some love it. I am floating in between somewhere. It's a bit on the Austin "laid back" vibe for my taste but still good.

Some of you might want to check out Austin guitarist Willie Oteri who sometimes let's his Jimi influence come out and also David Grissom. Austin is the place.

  • Hey Phil, I listen to the Jimi Project EVERY DAY on my way to work, it's phenomenal! I'd love to see a video of "I Don't Live Today"! Hope you play in L.A. sometime!

  • Just saw Phil in Austin, what a player very Beck like. He is more then just a tribute player he a all around great player and songwriter. Check out his site and look at the songwriter credits. The dude has songs on tons of CD's. Phil is a also one of the nicest guys I have met, if you get a chance to see him live do it.

  • I just really cannot get enough of Phil's playing. . .what a great performance, Phil! Congratulations.

  • The Jimi Project is more than an immitation of Hendrix it's a true tribute to him. Not a typical imitation, but a true tribute to Jimi. Buy It - Get It - Listen to IT all - and then go to Phil's site and expierence the real Phil Brown - I have everything that he has put out on CD and I can't wait for more!!!!

  • I think I know this guy; he was playing mucho guitar in 1986 as well. He also called me up once and told me to stop watching the news, and give up drinking. I did give up drinkg this last year, but I still can't play the Guitar like Phil! Cheers!
