great video, powerful song, great combination of the two...your song puts you in good company with america's greatest poet, walt whitman. in his "song of the redwood" his redwood speaks too (in italics). i'll email you a link cuz i don't think i can post a url here. check it out if you haven't before. it's deep.

awesome video..powerful imagery fits the lyrics..love that mandolin in the end and harmonies throughtout.

That's Jimmy Monahan playing mandolin.

In the middle of the tracking session, my producer, Scott Luedke, said "I've got an idea" and ran into his house and got his daughter's toy guitar, a little plastic thing with pink stickers.

It took about 20 minutes to tune it, but Jimmy finally got it crying like a baby.

I think Scotty got it in the mix perfect...sort of a Deliverence/old timey sound that mixes well with the old logging pictures.
