Charlee Ann was very excited to get her first forward facing carseat. Here is a video of getting the seat for Mimi's car. The box that goes in the back is the seat that she rides in most of the time. Fitting 2 car seats into one already packed vehicle was a lot of fun!
Getting new carseats sure is fun, though dealing with those big boxes is a challenge sometimes. Have you heard about the newest recommendations to keep kids rearfacing longer? The studies have shown it is 5 times safer to keep kids rearfacing (preferably to at least age 2). This is pretty new info and most people are not yet aware of it. Check out the youtube video "The Importance of Rear-Facing" and do a google search for "rearfacing unmatched safety" to see some of the latest info.
She is very sweet, I would 2nd what the other poster said. BOTH my kids are rear facing still. My older son is 5 years old and my younger son is turning 4 in a month. They are safer rear facing.
