Tacoma Driver

I was playing with my old D8 camera. Set up tripod poking out of the sunroof and drove around tacoma until the battery ran down. I start near Java Jive and drive through 38th & Tacoma Mall Blvd, over to the East Side, down Pacific Ave, along Ruston Way and to Point Defiance. To make things interesting speed is very fast.

Too bad you got the video off before you went through the 5 mile drive. I've lived on the east side, I've lived in hilltop, and now I live behind Fort Lewis. To me that's all part of Tacoma.

I used to live right above Coles, on the corner of 51st and Pearl, in Ruston, across from the Chevron. What are they doing with that building now? Do you know? I heard that Coles had a fire a while ago and was closed down. I moved from there in April of 99' and have not been back since July 2002. Great vid, thanks for posting it. JV
