Well, one thing's for sure...the internet is amusing. Hey, just wanted to let everyone know that we're okay down in South Padre. Just got electricity back last night and the mess is being cleaned up. My dad's doing survey work to measure the damage Dolly did. On average, the beach lost 30 ft! That's crazy.

1st, Cragur, my dad took this from the safety of his house that is completely up to hurricane code and is perfectly safe. 2nd, Dolly is only a CAT 2 and my dad has been through 9 hurricanes. It's just part of living on the coast. Thirdly, Hannah is his daughter and it's not Peggy, it's Tiggy (he's the cat). He wouldn't have stayed if he thought he was putting his family in danger.

Oh, also, he's an environmental consultant and it's his job to measure the impact of anything that happens in that coastal area, especially hurricanes. Don't spout off about things you don't understand.
