  • boris inspired me to pick up a racket as a kid the first year he won wimbledon 1985. i remember my pal copying all his moves. its a shame tennis wasnt open to all people back then.

  • @hykha02

It was already featured in Jimmy Connors Pro Tennis Tour on SNES.

  • My favourite one is his dive against Vilas in Forest Hills 1987 which lead to a match point. Even Vilas was shaking his head in disbelief.

  • That dive at 1:25 is the most memorable dive in the history of the sport. I remember watching that in my living room when I was a kid, live on television. Seeing it again is so nostalgic. Boris is a huge part of the reason I chose tennis to be my career. I haven't had the career Boris had (not many have), but he inspired me to make a living out of what I love to do most. Thanks for the video mate, and thanks to Boris for being Boris...........JAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Awesome! I'm going to try this right now! *tries dive. hurts knees*

    @$%& Becker!!!!!

  • Totally agree with Boris....definitely more of a psychological impact against the opponent when diving.

  • I like Becker, he had balls and personality which is something current top players don't really have.

  • The last answer is strange. Becker hit his knees as a boy several times, so his (and Steffi Graf´s) trainer Boris Breskvar forced him to practiced the dive on a training-mat indoors.
