Debian etch kernel 2.18, running OpenBox on Pentium II 400 mhz with 128 mg of ram.
working perfect, and running very fast as u can see.

  • @kevincadogan2310 i think it will run avis. i have a p3 700MHz with 64MB of ram and a Debian with fluxbox runs like hell :)

  • @vaksmn it is. its better to use a linux distribution instead because its up to date

  • how well does it run avi video files bigger than 50mb?i have a 600mhz/192 mb ram pc and windows xp is so slow on it.iam wanting too try something different.thanks

  • The performance on this is amazing!  I was looking for a distribution that would work well on a similar old machine and finally settled on Vector, however, it is rather slow and there are a couple of things I don't like about it.

    I am surely going to go back and look into Debian with OpenBox! Fantastic!
