This concept of folding recumbent trike has been in our minds for a long time and we have racked our brains for hours and had lengthy debates over many of its solutions. And that was true for everyone from the chief Ales through designer Thomas and our marketing department, the boys in the assembly department, and the accountant. Our goal was simple - to make a tricycle, which could be easily passed into the trunk of a car or an elevator, but it could just as easily be passed into the case so that it could travel by train, bus or plane. And all this without any compromises, with still a very stiff frame, a minimum torsion of the rear suspension fork and excellent driving characteristics. It seems that we have achieved amazing results, even though a large and rigorous tricycle testing is still ahead. However, even today, we have many improvements in our minds that will soon be reflected in the prototypes to come and which will sooner or later be presented as a final product. You will be able to follow the news on our blog throughout the year. http://www.azub.eu

  • Unfortunaltely I have to agree. This isn't folding. Have a look at the Greenspeed GT3 Recumbent Trike. Although you still have to remove the seat it does fold around a single hinge.

  • Your trike looks cool, but I'm not very tech-savvy und could never ever disassemble it that way. It somehow reminds me of Ikea furniture--only that you have to assemble furniture just once in your warm apartment and not on the sidewalk with a temperature of 5°C.

  • I agree with one of your other posts... it seems very complicated... is there not a way to make it fold on its self in such a way that you wouldn't be dissembling but rather "folding" the bike?

  • Is it AZUB ECO TRIKE showing in video?

    For sale now?

  • It look likes you have to de-construct your hole trike. And I see the parts fall off while doing it (1:00). And in between I see you wonder: what is the next step, there are to many. After one quick-release bolt I get the point! And by playing the quick funky music your demo look even more slow and complicated. I know you're building quality bike's, but this presentation does not show what you are capable of. And don't just dump the seat-part in there like it's rubbish! Next time, take time!

  • A very small package indeed. The quick release at 2:07 is unique.

    No front derailler?
