I play a J-45 as well. Best guitar I've ever played.

i started out a hardcore martin fan..........but im slowly leaning to the Gibby. they have that mellow back porchy sound if that makes any sense lol. Martins are kinda boomy. i guess my choice will be a Gibson southern Jumbo......wish is just a 45 dressed up with pearl neck inlays and silver tuners

Nicely done, sir. Personally, I like the Gibson finish but prefer the Martin sound. Difference of opinion makes both companies successful in their own right.

OpikX... Recording King makes some pretty great Gibson copies. Check out ebay and look for the guy there that sells factory seconds for cheap. I just bought what is basically a rosewood J-45 with a nitro finish for $475...
