@jindos2000 Yours could be a mix or a mix without the curled tail.

my jindo doesnt have as curled of a tail as yours why is that?

Dogs will roll in heavily scented areas to acquire a smell on their coats that masks their own. They "wear" the acquired scent as a disguise to aid in hunting. Often times the heavy scent is produced by a dead animal, feces or of some other origin that we would consider noxious. I have had a Jindo for 6 years. Although they can be difficult when young and require a lot of exercise, they make loyal companions. Really an incredible bread with great character traits.

I've had a lot of dogs and have loved them all, but let me tell you that Jindo's are EASILY the one of the smartest, most loving and loyal dogs around!
love mine!

@ThistleDewToo You have an actual dingo?!? WOW! Ya I noticed my jindo looking very similar to the dingos ive researched online. Also, it seems every dingo is different by climate and environment. The Jindo is said to be brought by Mongolians during their takeover. I wonder if they just domesticated a Dingo and started to breed them.

lol the dogs on crack :D

@MiloTheShiba That's because all the Japanese breeds are descendants of dogs that originate from Korea. All the NE asia spitz types have similar look which is also the origin for Inuit dogs.
-
That looks like a Shiba.

Looks a lot more like a shiba than a typical jindo
my dog does that after i give her a bath.
