Pretty good rigged fire you've got. You can hardly hear when you ignite the fuel from the probably loosened valves with a propane grill lighter at around 1:03.

kick it next time. it's not dangerous enough.

@heyjana These stoves require you to pump air into the tanks to pressurize the vapors.

@05clenharth I'm new to using Coleman stove's. Could you explain to me what you mean by pumping 30 times? Thanks!

fine example of someone who should not be allowed sharp tools or any shoes more complicated than loafers.

Your video is biased. When properly operated the 502 model is super dependable. You did not run it right. Adult things should not be left to children to play. Coleman did not communicate that you have to have an IQ of 85 or better to use the stove. Thanks for the video though. It shows HOW NOT TO OPERATE A COLEMAN CAMP STOVE.
ps BY THE WAY, YOU MESSED UP A REALLY GREAT STOVE.

Looks like the stove spits fuel out at 1:05. Why dont you pressurise it with the pump and see how you get on. When its very cold you have to re-pump it to keep it pressurised until the burner gets hot enough.
I have an old model 400 (same as your but with legs) only thing I have changed is the pump seals, they are available in a service kit.
Mines all old and the legs are rusty.. Just like me :)

You must be smarter the what you are working on.
You must not be.
It takes no skill to pour gas on a well engineered stove and defame it.

Hmmm, Obviously done by a propane salesman. One video from 2 years ago......Probably died in a propane explosion.
It's really important to read the instructions and keep it pumped up, especially in cold weather. Propane is safer. People prefer these stoves because they're more compact, but they're often not aware of their potential danger, and Coleman doesn't communicate that danger very well.....
