I can, the second part of the 8 is a little rough in the stearman with a stock engine. Its an 8, just tilted a little.

if you fall out you can usually catch up to the plane and climb back in, you just have to watch out for the prop. i do it all the time.

Yes and some people use XL elastic bands so they just 'snap' back in their seats... That's my personal favorite.

Dude!! Dude! How old are you? You're the first Stearman pilot I've seen so far who isn't in their 60's...haha. Last pilot I met was about 70. I fly a 1940 N2S-2; WWII Navy trainer with a 225 lycombing engine...I'm 17. Half the pilots I know are about 4 times my age. lol What year is your Stearman?
