http://www.woodmizer.com - With the most advanced hydraulics and turbo-charged power options, the LT70 portable sawmill is the fastest, most functional portable mill available for the professional sawyer. Hydraulic loading arms, a pair of hydraulic roller toeboards, and a hydraulic log clamp are standard features for this mill. Its unique hydraulic chain log turner is nearly twice as fast as standard steel-claw turners and moves in both directions for added convenience.

Accuset® Setworks and AutoClutch features are also standard. The LubeMizer™ feature, along with airbag blade tensioning, offers better blade performance and extends blade life. An optional 62 HP CAT® diesel engine can boost productivity by up to 25%.

For stationary sawing environments, our industrial material handling system is available which includes a log infeed deck, an inclined conveyor, and a transfer table. A trailer package is also standard for the LT70.

Exclusively for the LT70, an optional movable remote operator station allows the sawyer to place the control console anywhere within 6' around the mill, providing unlimited views of the log or cant. The console houses all sawhead and log-handling controls.

  • To Turbosagaren and others wellcome,

We wonder if this LT70 is good for full 8 to 9 hours work.

Worried about air bag , structure of the construction , band saw roller or pulley , travel rail etc if it can stand the rigours of hardwork and really heavy wood that we have in the tropics.

You mention maintenance is economical. Do you run 8 hrs x 6 days work? Any guide in the sort of parts you do change and problem of design you do come across eg structure , or recurring destruction of certain

  • @Chanhocklay Thank you for your interest in the Wood-Mizer LT70 sawmill. If you would like to know how these mills are performing in your area, I would suggest finding your closest international Wood-Mizer dealer, and they can make recommendations for sawmills, blades according to their experiences with the species you are planning on sawing. You can locate your nearest dealer by visiting the Wood-Mizer website. Thank you!
