I was actually talking about McCain vs. Obama. Don't waste your vote/time on someone who hasn't a change in hell to win. When was the last time someone won a state from the green party, let alone the election? They should call it the 'waste your vote' party.

At that point it's almost the same as not voting at all, except you actually have go get off your ass to contribute nothing.

Many of those non-voters are not voting because they know nothing about the 3rd party/independent candidates. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if Nader, Baldwin, Barr and/or McKinney got on a national TV debate, you'd suddenly see a large increase in turnout.

We need as many people as possible to vote for candidates running in the Green, Libertarian, Peace and Freedom, or Independent parties for any office to ever have a chance of toppling the two-party system. If we do not all band together united as our forefathers did, to change our political system, this country is doomed and we will be continually overtaken by other nations in the world who are more effective at making political and economic change.
